Mystic Moonlight

Such a quiet restful night in the moonlight, watching the boat slowly float on the water with the light of the evening cascading through the trees. What does it make you feel? What do you see as you look toward the horizon. Does it remind you of a quiet moment from your past thinking of someone or being with that special someone? It’s a moment that calms you inside, at least for me. And it makes me feel like holding my special lady close and watching the sun go down. I love moments like this. What about you?

This painting started and came alive so easily and quickly. It was like I was laying next to my love and we were enjoying the passion of the night, you know, where you feel lost in dreams of how deep your love is and how it grows in moments like these. I love some wild colors, and purple is one of them. It evokes thoughts and associations of creativity, rarity and royalty. So it is definitely a unique and rare color that depicts a feeling that is special, like wealth and royalty are rare and time with your loved one is rare. Don’t know if it is always that deep, but it is a vibrant and powerful color.
